## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONDUCTING A SIGHT-SEEING FLIGHT WITH ONE PASSENGER ABOARD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN THE LANDING PHASE TO RUNWAY 34 AT PALMER MUNICIPLE AIRPORT. WHILE ROLLING OUT AND DECELERATING, THE PILOT APPLED BRAKES, BUT HIS FOOT MISSED THE LEFT BRAKE PEDDLE. THE UNEVEN APPLICATION OF BRAKES CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER TO THE RIGHT. IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE AIRCRAFT FROM DEPARTING THE RUNWAY, THE PILOT APPLIED EXCESSIVE BRAKING WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO BEGIN A SLOW-MOTION NOSE OVER GROUND STRICKING THE PROPELLER AND LOWER ENGINE COWL. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON ITS NOSE WITH VERY LITTLE IMPACT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
