## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE AT CRUISE ALTITUDE, THE FLIGHT ENCOUNTERED UNEXPECTED TURBULENCE. THE CAPTAIN MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FLIGHT ATTENDANTS TO TAKE THEIR JUMPSEATS. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO FASTEN THEIR SEATBELTS, TWO FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WERE EJECTED FROM THEIR JUMPSEATS TOWARDS THE CEILING. ONE OF THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS LANDED ON THE OTHERS RIGHT ANKLE, RESULTING IN A FRACTURE OF THE ANKLE. THE OTHER FLIGHT ATTENDANT DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY INJURIES. INTERNAL INVESTIGATION WAS CONDUCTED THROUGH THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER'S AVIATION SAFETY ACTION PROGRAM (ASAP).
