## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHEN EXITING RUNWAY 17 ONTO TAXIWAY A3 AT TIW, AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIING OFF CENTER WITH LEFT WING DOWN DUE TO 18 METER GLIDER WINGSPAN. QUARTERING WIND CAUSED LEFT WING TO LIFT CAUSING RIGHT WING TO DROP AND STRUCK TAXI LIGHT, UNKNOWN TO PILOT UNTIL ARRIVING AT HANGAR. PILOT NOTICED SCRATCHES ON RIGHT WING AND CALLED INCIDENT IN. PILOT STATES THAT GOING FORWARD HE WILL STOP PRIOR TO PROCEEDING ONTO TAXI WAY TO BETTER GAUGE WIND CONDITIONS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
