## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 6, 2026 A CFR PART 145 MAINTENANCE FACILITY WAS DOING A PRE-INDUCTION INSPECTION OF A PILATUS PC-24, THE AIRCRAFT WAS DELIVERED TO THE WESTERN AIRCRAFTS RAMP ON FRIDAY APRIL 3, 2026 FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE. DURING THIS INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THAT THERE WHAT APPEARED TO BE A BULLET LODGED IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TAIL-CONE NEAR THE LOWER EDGE OF THE RUDDER. IT COULD NOT BE DETERMINED WHEN OR WHERE THIS INCIDENT TOOK PLACE AS THE AIRCRAFT HAD FLOWN MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS. THE DOM FOR THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER IN MODESTO, CA WAS NOTIFIED AS WAS THE FAA PMI.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
