## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A VALIDATION FLIGHT FOR FLIGHT CLUB INSURANCE PURPOSES A SERIES OF LANDINGS WERE PERFORMED, INCLUDING FLAPS 20 AND FLAPS 40 CONFIGURATIONS. THE FLIGHT THEN TRANSITIONED TO A NO-FLAP LANDING. AFTER A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN, DURING THE TOUCH-AND-GO ROLLOUT AT APPROXIMATELY 25 KNOTS, THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL WAS INADVERTENTLY ACTUATED INSTEAD OF THE INTENDED FLAPS / THROTTLE CONTROL (THROTTLE CONTROL WAS IN THE CLOSED/IDLE POSITION). THIS RESULTED IN THE NOSE GEAR RETRACTING WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS STILL ON THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED PROPELLER DAMAGE AND LOWER COWLING DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
