## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 22ND 2026 A LEAR 35 AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF FROM SUS AIRPORT ENROUTE TO APA. ON APPROACH THE PIC INDICATED THAT THE PREVIOUS AIRCRAFT COMING INTO APA HAD REPORTED 10-15 KNOT GUSTS OF WIND. UPON TOUCHDOWN THE PIC STATED THAT SHE FELT A GUST OF WIND FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT AND IT PICKED UP THE RIGHT WING. THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER OFF TO THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY 17L WHERE THE TAIL STRUCK THE GROUND AND DAMAGED THE RUDDER AND PUNCTURED THE AFT PORTION OF THE FUSELAGE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS LEFT OF RUNWAY 17L.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
