## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ON ARRIVAL INTO PUNTA GORDA (PGD), OBTAINED CURRENT WEATHER INFORMATION AND PLANNED THE APPROACH WITH CONSIDERATION FOR REPORTED WIND CONDITIONS.

THE APPROACH WAS STABILIZED ON FINAL. TOUCHDOWN INITIALLY OCCURRED ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WITH SLIGHT AFT ELEVATOR INPUT AS THE NOSE WAS BEING LOWERED. IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, A GUST OF WIND CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO BECOME AIRBORNE AGAIN, REACHING AN ESTIMATED 15-20 FEET AGL. UPON BECOMING AIRBORNE, PILOT APPLIED FULL POWER TO INITIATE A GO-AROUND.

BEFORE FULL POWER WAS ACHIEVED AND A POSITIVE CLIMB ESTABLISHED, THE AIRCRAFT DESCENDED BACK TO THE RUNWAY.

THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY NOSE GEAR FIRST, FOLLOWED BY THE MAIN LANDING GEAR. DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.

THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO OPERATE NORMALLY FOLLOWING THE IMPACT. PILOT ELECTED TO CONTINUE THE LANDING ROLLOUT, EXITED THE RUNWAY NORMALLY,

AND TAXIED TO THE FBO WHERE THE AIRCRAFT WAS SHUT DOWN.

DURING POST-FLIGHT INSPECTION, DEFORMATION OF THE PROPELLER BLADES WAS OBSERVED, CONSISTENT WITH A PROPELLER STRIKE.FURTHER INSPECTION REVEALED COLLAPSE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR STRUT, CONSISTENT WITH A FIRM NOSE GEAR CONTACT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
