## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 4, 2026, AT 0920 LOCAL TIME, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED FROM BILLINGS LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KBIL) AS A PRIVATE 14 CFR PART 91 FLIGHT. ITS DESTINATION WAS TO BE (PSP) PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT LATER SUFFERED A CRACKED WINDSCREEN AT CRUISE ALTITUDE, 24000 FEET, AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY REQUESTING TO DIVERT TO THE NEAREST AIRPORT WHICH WAS EVW EVANSTON-UINTA COUNTY AIRPORT - BURNS FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT THEN LANDED SAFELY AT 0934 LOCAL TIME. THERE WAS ONE SOUL ON BOARD THAT SUFFERED NO INJURIES. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE NOTED. THE WEATHER WAS VMC, AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS SUBMITTED. THE WINDSCREEN HAD NO RECENT HISTORY OF REPAIRS AND WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE MINOR DELAMINATION AND CRACK OF THE OUTER LAMINATION LAYER AND WAS CONSEQUENTLY ORDERED FOR REPLACEMENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
