## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT TOOK OFF FROM A GRASS STRIP AND TURNED IN THE DIRTECTION OF THE CORN FIELD HE WAS GOING TO SPRAY. AT 200 FEET AGL HE SET THE POWER AND NOTICED THAT HIS FUEL PRESSURE WAS DECLINING. HE ACTIVATED HIS ELECTRIC BOOST PUMP AND THE ENGINE SPUTTERED AND STOPPED. THE AIRCRAFT LOST ALTITUDE, IMPACTED TREES, AND CAME TO REST IN A CORN FIELD. THE PILOT WAS THE ONLY SOUL ONBOARD AND WAS NOT INJURED. THE LEFT WING WAS MOSTLY RIPPED OFF THE AIRCRAFT, THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED, AND THE FIREWALL, ENGINE, AND PROPELLER WERE RIPPED OFF THE FUSELAGE.
