## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A PART 105 PARACHUTE EVENT 2 OF THE JUMPERS WERE DOING WHAT IS KNOWN AS TRACKING. AT SOME PHASE OF THE JUMP THE 2 INDIVIDUALS COLLIDED CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES TO ONE OF THE JUMPERS AND THEN SECOND JUMPER WAS DECEASED DUE TO THIER INJURIES. THE INURED JUMPER WAS ABLE TO DEPLOY THEIR MAIN PARACHUTE AND LAND. THE SECOND JUMPER'S AUTOMATIC DEPLOYMENT DEVICE FOR THIER RESERVE PARACHUTE DEPLOYED THE RESERVE PARACHUTE. ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT WAS EXAMINED AT THE SCENE BY A MASTER PARACHUTE RIGGER AND IT APPEARS TO HAVE FUNCTIONED CORRECTLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
