## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

8020-9 STATED:

AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ROLL WHEN THEY REPORTED HAVING STRUCK A BIRD ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THEY WERE TAXIED TO PARKING AND SHORTLY AFTER, REPORTED THAT THEY HAD OBSERVED A SMALL DENT IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. NO INJURIES OR OTHER DAMAGES REPORTED.

HOWEVER, NOBODY (ATC / PILOTS / JJBA DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE CONTROL) KNOWS HOW DAMAGE WAS REPORTED ON THE FORM 8020-9. THE DISCOVERY OF NO DAMAGE WAS DURING THE INVESTIGATION AND AFTER THIS 8020-23 WAS CREATED. FOR REFERENCE, PLEASE SEE SAS TASK ID T-SO67-FY26-1136.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
