## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED KVUO AT APPROXIMATELY 1410Z. APPROXIMATELY 1515Z, WHILE OPERATING AT 9500FT MSL, THE PILOT OBSERVED DECREASING MANIFOLD PRESSURE AND OIL PRESSURE INDICATIONS. THE PILOT-INITIATED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND EVALUATED LANDING OPTIONS.

AFTER DETERMINING IF THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ALTITUDE THE PILOT EVALUATED LANDING OPTIONS AND DETERMINED THE NEAREST AIRPORT WAS BEYOND GLIDING DISTANCE, THE PILOT CONDUCTED AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON THE NEAREST HIGHWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
