## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED TO DEPART FOR 7FL4. UPON ACCELERATING FOR TAKEOFF AT FULL POWER, SPECKS OF OIL BEGAN TO APPEAR ON WINDSCREEN AT ROTATION / CLIMB OUT, OIL SPOT FREQUENCY INCREASED AND BEGAN TO SIGNIFICANTLY DEGRADE VISION AS THE SPECKS SPREAD ON WINDSCREEN. WITH VISION SIGNIFICANTLY OBSCURED, PILOT ABORTED TAKEOFF BUT WAS UNABLE TO STOP ON RUNWAY PAVEMENT. AIRCRAFT PROCEEDED OVERRUNNING RUNWAY. IN AN ATTEMPT TAXI AIRCRAFT TO TAXIWAY, AIRCRAFT RAN INTO SMALL DITCH BELIEVED TO BE A GOPHER HOLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
