## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS COMING IN FOR A LANDING ON RWY 18 IN LAMAR CO. AIRCRAFT BRIEFLY LANDED ON RWY 18 BUT SEEMED TO BE HAVING SOME SORT OF TROUBLE. HE THEN LIFTED OFF AGAIN AND VEERED OFF TO THE LEFT OF RWY 18, GOT DISORIENTED FOR A MOMENT AND WHEN HE LOOKED UP AGAIN SAW THAT HE WAS LOW TO THE GROUND. ONCE HE REALIZED IT, IT APPEARS HE PULLED BACK ON THE STICK CAUSING THE PLANE TO PULL UP QUICKLY AND LOOKS LIKE THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND ROLLED TO THE LEFT, WHICH LED TO A DIVE INTO THE GROUND AND CARTWHEELED TO A STOP, THIS IS BASED ON SECURITY VIDEO OBTAINED FROM THE LAMAR AIRPORT. UPON INITIAL OBSERVATION OF THE PLANE, I NOTICED THAT THE RPM GAUGE WAS STUCK AT ABOUT 5000 RPM. THE HOBBS METER WAS READING 70.3. THE PILOT WAS NOT ABLE TO REMEMBER MUCH FROM THE ACCIDENT, JUST THAT IT WAS VERY WINDY UPON LANDING AND HE THINKS THAT IS WHAT CAUSED HIM TO CRASH.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
