## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 12, 2026 A CUBCRAFTERS CARBON CUB WAS INVOLVED IN A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL UPON LANDING. THE PILOT REPORTED A WIND SHIFT TO A QUARTERING TAILWIND UPON LANDING CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO BECOME UNSTABLE. THE PILOT REPORTED A GO-AROUND WAS NOT PERFORMED BECAUSE THE ATTMEPT WOULD HAVE CAUSED FURTHER SAFETY RELATED ISSUES WITH THE ATTITUDE AND DIRECTION OF HEADING THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN. THE PILOT WAS COUNSELED ON JULY 2, 2026.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
