## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING AT APA RWY 35R AFTER POST FLIGHT INSPECTION INSTRUCTOR PILOT CONTACTED TOWER TO REPORT POSSIBLE IMPACT WITH AN OBJECT ON APPROACH. PILOT STATED THAT A NOISE WAS HEARD AT SAME TIME FLAP LEVER WAS ACTUATED. PILOT STATED THAT NO OBJECT WAS SEEN IMPACTING AIRCRAFT. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT THAT MAY HAVE OCCURRED WAS CORRECTED BY SANDING AND PAINTING AT THE TIME OF THE INVESTIGATION. PHOTOS WERE OBTAINED FROM THE MAINTENANCE STAFF OF THE DAMAGE PRIOR TO THE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED. THE PHOTOS INDICATE SCRATCHES ON THE LOWER RH WING APPROX. 2 INCHES AFT OF THE LEADING EDGE BY APPROX. 2 INCHES INBOARD OF WING TIP. SCRATCHES TRANSITION FROM FORWARD TO AFT WITH BLACK AND RED COLORING. THERE ARE 2 MARKS IN THE SKIN OF THE SAME SECTION ON WHAT LOOKS LIKE A PREVIOUS UNREPAIRED OR TREATED CORROSION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
