## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LANDING ON RUNWAY 32, THE PILOT STALLED THE AIRPLANE AND CRASHED 100 FEET SHORT OF THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. REVIEWED VIDEO OF THE AIRPLANE ATTEMPTING TO LAND. THE PILOT WAS ON A 45-DEGREE BASE LEG FOR RUNWAY 32, THE PILOT REDUCED POWER AND THE AIRPLANE APPEARED TO SLOW DOWN AND VERTICALLY SINK. THE PILOT USED RUDDER TO TURN TOWARD THE RUNWAY, RAISED THE NOSE AND STALLED JUST FEET ABOVE THE GROUND. THE PLANE CRASHED INTO THE GROUND AND CAME TO REST ON THE EMBANKMENT NEXT TO THE ACCESS ROAD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS INTACT BUT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. PILOT SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURIES AND WAS HOSPILTALIZED.
