## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT NARRATIVE: "AFTER REFUELING IN PAMY, THE ADF&G BIOLOGIST AND I DEPARTED TO CONDUCT PART 91 AERIAL GAME SURVEYS. ABOUT AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES INTO THE FLIGHT AT APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET AGL THE ENGINE BEGAN TO ROUGH. I IMMEDIATELY APPLIED CARB HEAT AND SWITCHED FUEL TO "BOTH". I HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN USING CARB HEAT EVERY MINUTE OR SO. I BEGAN USING DIFFERENT POWER SETTINGS AS WELL. THE ENGINE INITIALLY CAUGHT, BUT AGAIN BEGAN TO SPUTTER AND RUN ROUGH AND BEGAN LOSING POWER CONTINUOUSLY. I ELECTED TO PICK OUT A RELATIVELY SMOOTH SPOT SURROUNDED BY EXTREMELY ROUGH TUNDRA. ON SHORT FINAL OR THEREABOUTS, THEN ENGINE QUIT COMPLETELY. WE IMPACTED WINGS LEVEL WITH A COUPLE DEGREES OF NOSE UP PITCH ATTITUDE WHILE IN A DESCENT. THE LANDING GEAR RIPPED OFF AND WE SLID ON THE BELLY FOR ABOUT 50 FEET. THE LEFT WING TIP CONTACTED THE GROUND WHICH TURNED THE PLANE 90 DEGREES. WE EXITED THROUGH THE RIGHT-HAND CLAMSHELL DOOR WITHOUT INJURY AFTER I SECURED THE COCKPIT."
