## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 12, 2026, AT APPROXIMATELY 1018 LOCAL TIME, AIRCRAFT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE LOSS OF ELEVATOR CONTROL WHILE CONDUCTING TOUCH-AND-GO TRAINING AT GLENDALE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (GEU). THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ASSUMED CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND USED ENGINE POWER, AILERON, AND RUDDER INPUTS TO MAINTAIN CONTROL WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND. DURING THE LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

POST-ACCIDENT INSPECTION REVEALED THE ELEVATOR PUSHROD TUBE HAD FRACTURED FORWARD OF THE ELEVATOR CONNECTION POINT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD APPROXIMATELY 440 FLIGHT HOURS SINCE THE ELEVATOR PUSHROD WAS REPLACED IN RESPONSE TO A MANUFACTURER-ISSUED SAFETY ALERT BULLETIN RELATED TO A SEPARATE ISSUE. THE CAUSE OF THE PUSHROD TUBE FRACTURE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE NTSB AND AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER, REMOS.

THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, INCLUDING STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE FORWARD FUSELAGE, PROPELLER DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE, AND DAMAGE TO THE TAIL BOOM SECTION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
