## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ONCE CLEARED TO LAND RUNWAY 28 AT KAPA, LANDED FLAT ON ALL THREE TIRES SIMULTANEOUSLY, BOUNCED OFF THE GROUND AND INITIATED A GO AROUND PROCEDURE. WITH A SLIGHT QUARTERING HEADWIND SHIFTED TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY, HAD FULL POWER INPUT AND WAS NOT GAINING LIFT AS EXPECTED AND SUNK TOWARD THE GRASS STRIP. THE REAR TIRES TOUCHED DOWN ON THE GRASS, CUT POWER AND LANDED ON THE GRASS AREA. THE GRASS AREA WAS NOT COMPLETELY FLAT, SO THE FINAL STOPPED POSITION WAS ON THE LEFT OF THE GRASS AREA WHERE THE LAND DIPS INWARD SLIGHTLY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
