## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER DEPARTURE FROM MMUN, AIRPORT OPERATIONS PERSONNEL ADVISED ATC FOD WAS FOUND ON AIRCRAFT MOVEMENT AREAS. THE CREW WAS NOTIFIED AND SUBSEQUENTLY DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, DIVERTED TO AND LANDED IN IAH SAFELY AT 2205Z. INSPECTION FROM AIRPORT OPERATIONS DID CONFIRM THAT ONE OF THE LEFT MAINS WAS MISSING TREAD. AIRCRAFT WAS TUGGED TO GATE. DAMAGE WAS FOUND TO ENGINE FAN BLADES, E1 ACOUSTIC PANEL AFT OF FAN BLADES, AND ABRADABLE SHROUD. NUMBER ONE ENGINE CHANGE WAS REQUIRED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
