## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 30, 2026, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED ON GSO RUNWAY 5L WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED. THE COMMERCIAL PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT. MINOR DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE PROPELLER TIPS, LANDING GEAR DOORS, BOARDING STEP, FLAPS, AND EXHAUST PIPES. THE GEAR HANDLE WAS FOUND IN THE UP POSITION. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE PILOT ADMITTED THAT HE HAD NOT EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR. DURING RECOVERY, THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR WAS CRANKED DOWN MANUALLY AND THEN OPERATED WITH NORMAL POWER AND THE GEAR LEVER. ALL SYSTEMS PERFORMED NORMALLY. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THE GEAR WARNING HORN WAS TESTED. THE PILOT WILL BE OFFERED AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN A REEXAMINATION UNDER 44709.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
