## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT IN COMMAND WAS FLYING HIS PERSONAL AIRPLANE WITH ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND AT GOLDENDALE AIRPORT (S20). PILOT LOST CONTROL OF AIRCRAFT WHILE LANDING/ROLLOUT. THE AIRPLANE VERRED OFF THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK A TAXIWAY LIGHT BEFORE DESCENDING DOWN AN EMBANKMENT ON THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRPLANE HIT HARD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EMBANKMENT AND BROKE THE FRONT LANDING GEAR, WING STRUTS, AND BENT THE PROPELLER. THE AIRPLANE CAME TO REST UPRIGHT, LEANING TO THE LEFT ON THE BROKEN LANDING GEAR. BOTH PILOT AND PASSENGER EVACUATED THE AIRPLANE ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND ESCAPED WITH MINOR INJURIES.
