## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT DEPARTED HARRIS RANCH (3O8) ENROUTE TO KPRB AT 11:45 AM ON 08/13/2026. WHILE CLIMBING THROUGH 4500 THE AIRPLANE ENGINE STARTED RUNNING ROUGH. THE PILOT TRIED TO RETURN TO 3O8 BUT FEW MINUTES LATER THE ENGINE QUIT. THE PILOT LANDED ON A ROAD WITHOUT DAMAGING THE AIRPLANE OR OTHER PROPERTY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
