## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 08/26/2026 AT APPROXIMATELY 1925 LOCAL TIME ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 31 AT SLE. THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND THE PILOT WAS OBSERVED BY THE TOWER TO OVERCORRECT AND APPLIED THE BRAKES. THE PILOT STATED THAT A GUST OF WIND MOVED HIM TO THE RIGHT BEFORE TOUCHING DOWN AGAIN AND THE RIGHT WHEEL CONTACTED FIRST WITH SOME FORCE. THE RH BRAKE WAS DAMAGED INCLUDING THE BRAKE HYDRAULIC LINE BREAKING THE BOLTS HOLDING THE BRAKE CALIPER TO THE GEAR LEG. THE PILOT APPLIED THE BRAKES ONE BOTH WHEELS WERE ON THE GROUND AND RUDDER. THE PLANE PULLED TO THE LEFT DUE TO THE INOPERATIVE RH BAKE. THE PILOT INITIALLY REPORTED A BLOWN TIRE TO THE TOWER BUT AFTER LOOKING AT THE WHEEL ONCE THE AIRCRAFT WAS STOPPED NOTED THE BROKEN RH BRAKE. THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED PARTIALLY OFF THE RUNWAY IN THE GRASS FACING 90 DEGREES FROM THE RUNWAY. THE RH LANDING GEAR WAS ALSO DAMAGED BEING BENT INWARD TOWARDS THE CENTER LINE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT’S SKIN ALSO SHOWED LOCALIZED BUCKLING ON THE RH SIDE BETWEEN THE FIREWALL AND COCKPIT DOOR. THE PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND REPORTED NO INJURIES.
