## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 27, 2026, AT 12:00 AKDT, THE PILOT IN COMMAND OF AN AIRCRAFT CONDUCTED AN OFF-AIRPORT LANDING. DUE TO RAIN, THE LANDING SURFACE WAS WET AND SLICK. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN BEYOND THE PILOT'S DESIRED LANDING POINT AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP BEFORE RUNNING OFF THE END OF THE STRIP INTO ROUGH TERRAIN. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR STRUCK A TUSSOCK, CAUSING THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR SHOCK MOUNT AND LANDING GEAR TO FAIL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
