As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT 10:59 ON 08/30/2026, A NAVION D LANDED AT LOUISIANA REGIONAL AIRPORT (REG) IN GONZALES, LA WITH NOSE GEAR PARTIALLY EXTENDED AND NOSE WHEEL TURNED TO THE RIGHT. NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED UPON LANDING RESULTING IN PROP STRIKE AND POSSIBLE FRONT END DAMAGE.

DURING AIRCRAFT INSPECTION IT WAS NOTED THAT THE NOSE GEAR RETRACTION CENTERING ARM WAS BENT. A GEAR SWING WAS PERFORMED AND IT WAS NOTED THAT THE BENT CENTERING DEVICE WAS MAKING CONTACT WITH STEERING BUNGIE ATTACH BRACKET. CONTACT WITH BRACKET INTERFERED WITH NOSE WHEEL TRAVEL AND RUDDER FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM WHILE TRYING TO EXTEND GEAR.
