## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

APPROXIMATELY 1640 LOCAL TIME LTA671 DEPARTED RWY 23L FOR A LOCAL TRAINING FLIGHT. SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE THE PILOT REQUESTED TO RETURN TO KIND WITH A BAGGAGE DOOR WARNING LIGHT. UPON LANDING THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE BAGGAGE DOOR WAS MISSING. DOOR WAS FOUND ON AIRPORT PROPERTY. CAUSE OF BAGGAGE DOOR DEPARTURE IS UNKNOWN. IF CAUSE IS FOUND BY INVESTIGATION BY MANUFACTURER THIS REPORT WILL BE UPDATED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
