## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

APPROXIMATELY 10:14 AM THE TRANSIENT AIRCRAFT BEGAN ITS TAKEOFF ROLL NORTHBOUND ON THE 36/18 7,300-FOOT RUNWAY AT KTIX FROM THE 5,000-FOOT INTERSECTION. IT APPEARED TO ATTEMPT AN ABORTED TAKEOFF WITHIN THE FINAL 1,000 FEET OF THE RUNWAY BEFORE CONTINUING THE TAKEOFF. THE PILOT REPORTED ENGINE TROUBLE AND BEGAN TURNING BACK TOWARD THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO STALL BEFORE STRIKING POWER LINES AND THEN A TREE. IT CAME TO REST INVERTED ON A ROAD, WHERE A POST-ACCIDENT FIRE CONSUMED MOST OF THE AIRCRAFT SEVERELY. POST ACCIDENT INSPECTION PROPELLER LOOKS TO HAVE NOT BEEN UNDER POWER FROM ITS CONDITION. NTSB WILL PERFORM FURTHER AIRCRAFT INSPECTION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
