## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT THEY MAINTAINED AN AIRSPEED OF 50 MILES PER HOUR AND LANDED LONG DUE TO A TAILWIND. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN 3/4 OF THE WAY DOWN THE GRASS FIELD RUNWAY, BOUCNED, AND LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. AIRCRAFT WENT ACROSS A PAVED ROAD AT THE END OF THE FIELD AND CAME TO REST IN THE DITCH ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD, MISSING A LARGE BOULDER THAT ONLY THE PROPELLER STRUCK. LARGE DITCH CAUSED THE MAIN GEAR TO COMPLETELY FOLD BACK. PILOT AND PASSENGER HAD NO INJURIES. DAMAGE TO PROPELLER, GEAR, AND ENGINE COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
