## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

1. SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

WHILE EN ROUTE FROM EASTERWOOD AIRPORT (CLL) TO CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CRP), APPROXIMATELY 20 NAUTICAL MILES FROM CRP ON AN EXTENDED BASE LEG AT 3,000 FEET MSL, THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A FLOCK OF APPROXIMATELY 20 SMALL BIRDS. THE AIRCREW REPORTED THAT THE FLOCK COULD NOT BE AVOIDED, RESULTING IN MULTIPLE BIRD IMPACTS.

FOLLOWING THE IMPACTS, NO COCKPIT WARNING OR CAUTION LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED FOR A NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING AT CRP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

2. FINDINGS & DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

A POST-FLIGHT VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED:

- NO APPARENT DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER ASSEMBLY OR ENGINE INTERNALS.

- PHYSICAL DENTS LOCATED AROUND THE ENGINE COWLING AND INTAKE AREA.

- TOTAL PERSONNEL ON BOARD: 2 AIRCREW AND 4 PASSENGERS.

- INJURIES: ZERO (0) INJURIES REPORTED.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL/WILDLIFE HAZARD (BIRD STRIKE). NO AIRMAN PERFORMANCE ISSUES, AIRWORTHINESS DEFICIENCIES, FAR VIOLATIONS, ATC, OR AIRPORT CERTIFICATION FACTORS WERE INVOLVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
