THE ACFT WAS EQUIPPED WITH AN EXTENDED RANGE FUEL SYSTEM PER STC SA2162WE & THE PLT HAD EXPECTED A FUEL CONSUMPTION OF 75 PPH. HOWEVER, ACTUAL FUEL CONSUMPTION WAS 88.5 PPH. THE PLT ESTIMATED THAT HE HAD FLOWN 970 MI WHEN THE ENG QUIT. HE EXPECTED A RANGE OF 1100 MI.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19830825043849A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19830825043849A), Aug 25, 1983: Cessna T210L, Pleasant Grove, AL, Substantial damage. Ran out of fuel during vectors to airport. Overshot parking lot on landing. Hit a pole and a chain link fence.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
