On August 19, 2003, at 2315 eastern daylight time, a Beech 1900D, N79SK, operated by Skyway Airlines as flight 1411, sustained substantial damage during an on-ground collision with a deer while landing on runway 06 (6,501 feet by 150 feet, asphalt) at the Muskegon County Airport (MKG), Muskegon, Michigan. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The flight was operating under the provisions of 14 CFR Part 121 on an instrument flight rules (IFR) flight plan.
