THE AIRCRAFT STALLED IN THE TURN AND CRASHED SHORT OF THE AIRFIELD. INVESTIGATION REVEALED ONE TABLESPOON OF FUEL IN CARBURETOR, ONE GALLON IN THE LEFT WING, AND THREE GALLONS IN THE RIGHT WING. PRIOR TO THIS FLIGHT, THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN FLOWN FOR 3.7 HOURS SINCE IT WAS LAST REFUELED. THIS PILOT HAD BEEN FLYING FOR 0.8 HOURS WHEN THE ENGINE QUIT.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19910618022329A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910618022329A), Jun 18, 1991: Cessna 150H, Cadillac, MI, Destroyed. Engine quit on climbout. Aircraft stalled as student made 180. No fuel onboard. Departed with low fuel.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
