## Factual narrative

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Boeing 777 that occurred on December 2, 2011. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the GCAA investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. All investigative information will be released by the GCAA.

## Aircraft

- Registration: A6-EMR (not matched to a registry record)
- Reported make and model: BOEING 777
- Category: Airplane
- Damage: Minor damage
- Flight: Non-U.S., commercial
- Operator: Emirates
- Registered owner: Emirates
- Airworthiness certificate: Standard, Transport; Standard, Normal

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
