## Factual narrative

The Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Boeing 777-300 that occurred on July 2, 2012. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CAAC investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. All investigative information will be released by the CAAC.

## Aircraft

- Registration: A6-EGQ (not matched to a registry record)
- Reported make and model: BOEING 777 (300)
- Category: Airplane
- Damage: No damage
- Flight: Non-U.S., commercial
- Operator: Emirates
- Airworthiness certificate: Standard, Normal; Standard, Transport

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
