## Factual narrative

The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU) has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Boeing 737-800 that occurred on September 14, 2015. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the BFU investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the airplane. All investigative information will be released by the BFU.

## Aircraft

- Registration: EI-EKC (not matched to a registry record)
- Reported make and model: BOEING 737 (800)
- Category: Airplane
- Damage: No damage
- Operator: Ryanair
- Registered owner: Ryanair
- Airworthiness certificate: Unknown

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
