THE LEFT WING, HORIZONTAL STABILIZER AND LEFT MAIN FUEL TANK WERE DAMAGED. A POSTACCIDENT INSPECTION REVEALED A RELAY AND SWITCH OUT OF ADJUSTMENT, AND WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. THIS ALLOWED THE GEAR TO INTERRUPT EXTENSION PRIOR TO DOWN LOCK.
