THE STUDENT PILOT HAD BEEN FLYING ON A SOLO CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT WHEN HE BECAME LOST AND LANDED AT THE NEAREST AIRPORT TO FIND OUT WHERE HE WAS. SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF, THE AIRCRAFT WAS OBSERVED MAKING A STEEP LEFT BANK AND THEN THE NOSE SUDDENLY DROPPED. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND IN A STEEP NOSE LOW ATTITUDE AND CAME TO REST UPSIDE DOWN.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19901125051779A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19901125051779A), Nov 25, 1990: Cessna 150H, Clifton, TX, Substantial damage. Off course landed for help then took off downwind with full flaps. Stalled and crashed off end of runway.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
