## Analysis

THE ACFT MADE EXCESSIVELY STEEP TURNS AT LOW ALTITUDE AND THE ENGINE LOST POWER. DURING THE FORCED LANDING THAT FOLLOWEDTHE ACFT STRUCK A TREE AND ROLLED INVERTED. IT STRUCK THE GROUND IN A NEAR VERTICAL NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE. FROM THE AMOUNT OF FUEL ABOARD AT TAKEOFF AND THE FLT TIME THE FUEL IN THE TANK BEING USED WAS DOWN TO ABOUT 1/4 OF A TANK. THE HANDBOOKSTATES THAT AT THIS FUEL LEVEL FUEL OUTLETS CAN BE UNCOVERED IN UNCOORDINATED SLIPS OR SKIDS WHICH WILL CAUSE FUEL STARVATION.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19830215004159A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19830215004159A), Feb 15, 1983: Cessna P210N, Alexandria, LA, Destroyed. Engine quit on pullup from a low pass over a farm house. Crashed into trees. Low fuel unported due nose high angle.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
