## Probable cause

THE LOSS OF CONTROL DURING THE LANDING ROLL. A FACTOR WAS THE PARTIAL LOSS OF ENGINE POWER.

## Sequence of events

  - directional control - not maintained, pilot in command (cause)
  - terrain condition - soft

## Analysis

DURING A LOCAL AREA FLIGHT THE ENGINE BEGAN TO RUN ROUGH, SO THE PILOT ELECTED TO EXECUTE A PRECAUTIONARY TO A FARM ROAD. DURING THE LANDING ROLL THE AIRPLANE VEERED OFF THE ROAD AND ENTERED A FRESHLY PLOWED FIELD. THE NOSE GEAR SANK INTO THE SOFT EARTH AND THE AIRPLANE NOSED OVER TO THE INVERTED POSITION.
