- On ground/water encounter with terrain/water, landing - roll
  - terrain condition - rough/uneven
- Nose over, landing - roll

THE PILOT STATED TO FAA SAFETY INSPECTORS THAT IT FELT LIKE THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING DID NOT WORK. THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED BY FAA AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTORS WHO REPORTED THAT NO PREIMPACT MECHANICAL MALFUNCTIONS OR FAILURES WERE IDENTIFIED.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19901217054759A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19901217054759A), Dec 17, 1990: Cessna 152, Livermore, CA, Substantial damage. Lost control on touch and go landing. Ran off runway and overturned in rough ground.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
