THE PILOT FURTHER INDICATED THAT HE MADE A FORCED LANDING ON THE ROUGH TERRAIN, AND DURING THE IMPACT SEQUENCE A FIRE ERUPTED. THE ENGINE WAS SUBSEQUENTLY STOLEN FROM THE ACCIDENT SITE. THE REASON FOR THE LOSS OF ENGINE POWER COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.
