THE PLT SAID THE ACFT BALLOONED AND HE APPLIED POWER TO GO AROUND BUT THOUGHT HE DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER CONTROL SO HE PULLED OFF THE POWER TO LAND. AS THE ACFT CONTACTED THE GROUND THE NOSE WHEEL COLLAPSED AND THE RT MAIN GEAR BROKE OFF.

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19841209067959A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19841209067959A), Dec 9, 1984: Cessna 150F, Fort Myers, FL, Substantial damage. Drifted to right, ballooned after touchdown, tried go around, aborted go around, landed hard.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
