WHEN THESE ACTIONSDID NOT PRODUCE THE DESIRED RPM HE TRIED TO LAND IN A PLOWED FLD, THE SKIDS DUG IN THE SOFT DIRT AND CAUSED THE HELICOPTER TO ROLL OVER. EXAMINATION OF THE ENG DISCLOSED NO EVIDENCE OF A PRE-IMPACT MALFUNCTION OF FAILURE. HOWEVER, THE ROTOR SYSTEM WAS NOT CHECKED. NO DETERMINATION WAS MADE AS TO THE REASON FOR THE LOSS OF RPM.

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19851122057979A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19851122057979A), Nov 22, 1985: Enstrm F28F, Miami, FL, Substantial damage. Aircraft rolled over during run in landing in field. RPM decreased in flight. Cause undetermined.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
