## Analysis

THE PLT BECAME DISTRACTED WHILE HELPING THE PASSENGER SPOT ALLIGATORS AND FAILED TO MAINTAIN AIRSPEED (VS) RESULTING IN AN INADVERTENT STALL MUSH. HE INITIATED A RECOVERY BUT DUE TO THE LOW ALTITUDE, WAS UNABLE, BEFORE THE MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLIDED WITH AN OBJECT IN THE WATER.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19910929062679A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910929062679A), Sep 29, 1991: Bbavia 7EC, Lakeport, FL, Substantial damage. Pilot crashed into a lake while attempting to recover from a stall. Student pilot was carrying a passenger.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
