## Probable cause

THE PILOT IN COMMAND'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN AIRSPEED WHILE PERFORMING A GO AROUND RESULTING IN THE AIRCRAFT STALLING AND DESCENDING UNCONTROLLED TO THE GROUND.

## Sequence of events

In NTSB's coding before 2008 (https://www.ntsb.gov/GILS/Documents/codman.pdf).

- Airframe/component/system failure/malfunction, unknown
  - landing gear,tire - pressure too low
- Loss of control - on ground/water, landing - roll
  - directional control - not possible, pilot in command (contributing factor)
  - go-around - performed, pilot in command
- Loss of control - in flight, landing - aborted
  - airspeed(vs) - not maintained, pilot in command (cause)
  - stall - inadvertent, pilot in command (cause)
- In flight collision with terrain/water, descent - uncontrolled
  - terrain condition - runway

## Analysis

PILOT ATTEMPTED GO AROUND AFTER AIRCRAFT PULLED RIGHT ON LANDING DUE TO A FLAT TIRE. SHORTLY AFTER LIFTING OFF THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND ROTATED TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE GROUND NOSE AND LEFT WING LOW AND CAME TO REST.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19920907035339A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19920907035339A), Sep 7, 1992: Cessna A150K, Palatka, FL, Substantial damage. Right main tire blew on landing. Lifted at slow speed to go around. Left wing stalled. Nose and wing struck runway.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
