THE PILOT ELECTED TO LAND ON A CROWNED, ASPHALT, FARM ROAD WHILE REPOSITIONING THE AIRCRAFT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL OPERATION. HE REPORTED THAT SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT PULLED TO THE LEFT AND THE LEFT WING ENTERED HIGH WEEDS. HE SAID HE WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE SWERVE BY USING RIGHT RUDDER AND BRAKE. THE PILOT THEN APPLIED FULL POWER IN AN EFFORT TO GO OVER A FENCE, BUT THE AIRCRAFT COLLIDED WITH THE FENCE.

- [Accident 19820618023209A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19820618023209A), Jun 18, 1982: Cessna 188CESSNA, Appleton City, MO, Substantial damage. Pilot attempted landing on road, wing caught in vegetation and caused aircraft to pull to the side causing crash.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
