## Analysis

WHILE CONDUCTING AN AERIAL APPLICATION MANEUVER, THE COMMERCIAL PLT FAILED TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH POWER WIRES AND A UTILITY POLE, DURING A PULL UP AFTER A SWATH RUN. THE RIGHT WING STRUCK THE POLE, SEPARATING A PORTION OF THE WING, RESULTING IN AN UNCONTROLLED ROLL. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE TERRAIN AND CONTINUED TO ROLL AND CARTWHEEL, COMING TO A STOP IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19900622022129A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19900622022129A), Jun 22, 1990: Airpts A9, Barrett, MN, Substantial damage. Collided with wires and a pole on pull-up from a spray run. Impact severed part of wing. Caused uncontrolled roll.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
