- [Accident 19851020056819A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19851020056819A), Oct 20, 1985: Piper PA28R201, Alpine, NJ, Substantial damage. While cruising at 1500 AGL, aircraft was struck by a canadian goose. Damage to leading edge of right wing.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
